Hello everyone!
Alright, I just couldn't contain myself any longer. I've been DYING to write something on this blog ever since I created it almost three months ago (don't judge) in preparation for my study abroad adventures in none other than London, England! On the list of all the exciting things that I will have the opportunity to see and do while I am in London, blogging actually ranks pretty highly! This is probably the one instance in my life when people will actually have more than a passing interest in my daily life. So, I'm going to milk it for all it's worth. I love telling and sharing stories with others, so this blog is a great way to keep everyone informed about this particularly eventful chapter in the story of my life!
I can't believe how quickly time has flown ever since I first found out, to my great delight, that I would have the amazing opportunity to study abroad in London. When I first got home for the summer, months and months stretched out before me like a never-ending road on a luxury car commercial, and it seemed as if September would never come. Now that it is practically here, I find myself wishing I had more time to prepare! Oh well, that's classic procrastination for you. As September 8th draws nearer, I am becoming more excited/anxious for what is to come. As much as I love to travel, airports are definitely not my friend, and LAX looms closer in my future like a big, scary, polluted, chaotic monster, obstructing my path to London. I guess I'd better take a leaf from King Arthur's book and get myself an Excalibur to vanquish my fears.
I'll be sure to post more details about where exactly I will be living in London/what is in store for me soon, but for now, consider this the official opening of my travel blog. I tried to get the Queen to parachute out of a helicopter for the occasion, but apparently she'll only do it for Daniel Craig. Figures. Until next time, cheerio!
Ohh I'm so excited for you!!! And I have more than a passing interest in your daily life, don't worry :) Can't wait to hear about London once you get there. Good luck preparing!
